This delicious, gelatinous breakfast bowl is seriously filling. Take in mind that it needs prep time for the chia seeds to give effect forming that gelatin consistency hence it needs to be left for a couple of hours or overnight as I’ve done.
What’s in it:
- Chia seeds, 2 Tbsp
- Almond Milk, 1 c
- Maple syrup, 1 tsp
Mash the banana with a fork. Add the chia seeds and maple syrup and mix well. Add milk and stir until the chia seeds have been distributed evenly. Leave in the fridge overnight and serve the next day.
Optional toppings are adding fruits like more banana, blueberries (antioxidant), nuts, and/or shredded coconut.
