Didn’t think I would make this but I did and it took a while. This was to satisfy a craving after binge watching more food videos on youtube and it was lovely. Here’s a breakdown of fillings used to make the varying Quesadillas.
What’s in it:
- Whole Wheat Tortilla (2 packs of 6 pieces)
Spinach & Feta Quesadilla
- Spinach
- Feta cheese
- Sour cream
- Parmesan cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
Meat Lover’s Quesadilla
- Bacon
- Salami
- Sliced chorizo
- Pizza cheese
Pizzadilla
- Ground beef
- Pizza cheese
- Tomato sauce
- Onions
- Pizza cheese
Tacodilla
- Ground beef
- Guacamole
- Onions
- Pizza cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Hard taco shells (crushed)
Double Salami Quesadilla
- Salami
- Pizza cheese
Classic Beef Quesadilla
- Ground beef
- Pizza cheese
Using two packs of six pieces allowed me to make two portions of the same kind. Heat a grill pan with a light layer of olive oil. Start heating the tortilla in the pan for ten seconds on each side. Apply a thin layer of cheese until it melts and then add your chosen filling fold the tortilla in half and slice into desired portion sizes depending on the size of your tortilla.
Ideal condiments that we used are hot sauce, leftover spinach and feta filling, cream cheese, guacamole, and tomato. It depends on how much more of what flavor each person likes. If you have leftovers, save them for the next day and reheat in the oven or using a toaster.
I hope you liked this post and try it yourself at home and see how easy it is to make. You don’t necessarily have to do all in one go like I did 😜
So delicious, lovely post!
