It has always been difficult to avoid savory, meaty dishes and so before embarking on my new diet which is not one of the trends but I do find easier, practical and manageable. I will elaborate this new routine in another post but for now let us savor the flavors of a lazy day dinner.
What’s in it:
- Chicken wings
- Wasa crackers (multigrain crispbread)
- Whole wheat bread
- Mixed salad
- Feta cheese
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
The only thing needed to be cooked were the chicken wings which I merely tossed in the oven following the directions on the packaging.
Use butter or philadelphia cream cheese as a spread for the bread or crackers. I also used compote and fois gras that I got from Christmas and now it’s all gone. No more worries of not consuming before their expiration dates.
The salad leans toward a more Greek style which is very refreshing and tastes wonderful.
