Baked Mac and Cheese

Another day, another craving. Often times I add paprika in this dish to give it some heat but this time it wasn’t necessary. Pepper was more than enough to add a depth of smokeyness to the flavor instead of just heat. 

We’ve been craving for a cheese dish so why not make something almost dominantly cheesy. I say ‘almost’ because fondue and raclette are obviously the dominators of cheesyness.

I added a side salad with sliced hard boiled eggs to have something refreshing since this dish tends to be heavy and filling.

What’s in it:

  • Elbow macaroni
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Parmesaan cheese
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • All purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
