This is the second or maybe the third time I’ve made this dish. I’ve had to substitute Monggo with lentilles since it’s not available at Coop or Migros although I could’ve tried the Asian groceries but there’s no way you can make me go all the way in search of it with the uncertainty of it’s availability even there. However, as per hubby’s request I cooked it once again. He loves this dish and I don’t disagree as it is the best for the rainy days we’ve been having since the start of our short vacation. It’s fills you up with just a bowl and if you’re like me you end up making enough to last you 2 days.
What’s in it:
- Lentilles (Monggo/Mung beans substitute)
- Fish sauce (shrimp paste/bagoong substitute)
- Salt & Pepper
