Taking place at the Hotel Marriotte in Zürich, we served our guests from the beginning up to the end. Imagine having to be at the location of the event hours before to prep and welcoming them upon arrival, I felt as if I was still working at the restaurant.
I felt a rush because it was the first time I’ve been a part of organizing such an event. The success of the event from the feedback of the guests is a definite sign of achievement for me personally.
The best part about SPEC 2014 is that I was able to be a part of it. From having a chance to use my knowledge and skills from school to mingling with LPs and GPs has been worthwhile. Their insights are definitely worth remembering that I ended up annotating my info booklet when I had a break from my post during the conference. There’s no doubt that I would opt to do it again next year.
