It really does feel like Christmas at home in Geneva. I woke up to my mom telling me to cook Chicken Adobo. Her methods of waking us up is effective because we can’t fall asleep anymore once she does it. As I was preparing, I receive a bunch of messages from my sister (see photo) since she lost her voice due to being sick and upon entering here room I see exactly that (see photo).
Trying to normalize Christmas traditions even if we’re not with our relatives in the Philippines like we usually are every year. This year we’re celebrating at the hospice where are dad is now staying and although we have no idea when the time will come, at least we will try to keep the cheery spirit that we have to celebrate.
Family is family.
